How to use these calculators
No email gate. No misleading defaults. Just the math you came for.
Most “ROI calculators” on the internet exist to capture your email, then deliver a number that's suspiciously aligned with the vendor's sales pitch. Ours don't. Every calculator below runs entirely in your browser, with industry-default values you can verify against published research, and gives you the number whether or not you ever talk to us.
What you can do with these tools
Quantify the leak. The missed-calls cost calculator takes your monthly call volume, average customer value, and current pickup rate, and tells you the dollar value of the calls you're missing each month. The math is the standard speed-to-lead formula from the HBR research, run with your actual inputs.
Pre-justify the buy. The after-hours ROI calculator tells you whether 24/7 coverage will pay for itself for your specific business shape. Honest cases: for service businesses doing <30 calls/month, the math often does not work. For everyone else, the break-even is inside the first month.
Bring the number to your team. Both calculators are linkable with your inputs in the URL, so you can paste a link in Slack or email and your partner sees the same calc with the same numbers.
How we keep these honest
Conservative defaults. Every assumption (response-time decay, conversion rate, average call duration) is set to the conservative end of the published research range. We'd rather understate the missed-call cost than oversell. If your real numbers are worse than the defaults (and they often are), the calculator will show you the worse number when you plug yours in.
Sources cited inline. Every number that comes from external research links to the primary source (HBR, MIT/InsideSales, BLS, NAR). Click through and verify before you trust our math.
No dark patterns. The calculator works whether or not you give us your email. There's no “See your results — enter email below.” The number renders the moment you click calculate.
What we're adding next
On the roadmap: a lead-response-time calculator (input your current first-response window in minutes, see the predicted conversion uplift from cutting it to sub-60s), a voicemail-loss calculator (input your voicemail completion rate vs. live pickup, see the dollar loss), and a customer-LTV / churn calculator for service businesses. If there's a specific calculator you wish existed, email contact@ovox.ai — we ship the popular ones in two-week cycles.
